What is a domain name?
A domain name, such as "allcrawl.com" is linked to a specific IP address (a location of a server on the Internet). When a domain name is
typed into the address bar of a browser, the user is transferred to the requested web site associated with that domain name. The Top Level Domain, or TLD, will
consist of two to four letters, such as .us, .com, or .mobi. Some TLDs have specified uses, though not regulated, and some will cost more than others. The other
part of the domain name, which you will specify, is the Second Level Domain, or SLD, name. The SLD is what you will choose to identify your identity. Domain
names must be registered with an ICANN-acredited registrar, such as the one we have partnered with.
